Armstrong's 6 in. Channel Beam Splice, CBS6A supports organized ceiling grid installation by providing a purpose-built connection between main beams and compatible carrying channels. Its application within Armstrong's drywall grid system makes it suitable for contractors, installers, and tradespeople working on suspended drywall ceiling assemblies. Rather than relying on improvised hardware, this dedicated splice helps maintain compatibility with the specified Armstrong grid components and simplifies material planning for larger projects. Contractors can use the CBS6A as part of a properly designed suspension system where the specified 1-1/2 in. black iron carrying channels are used, helping keep installation consistent across the ceiling layout.
